FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT
- Internship and career department, being a structural division of "Grigoris" medical-humanitarian college, is responsible for effective career guidance of students, organization of internships and provision of professional orientation services.
- In the framework of students' career guidance, he cooperates with the "Professional Orientation Methodological Center" of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, territorial centers of the "State Employment Agency", social partners, and other relevant state and private organizations.
- The work of the department is planned and carried out by the person in charge of practice and career (coordinator).
- Provides students with career counseling and guidance, providing services in an individualized manner.
- Collecting and notifying students of information about continuing and additional education, training, labor market analyzes and forecasts (local, regional, national and international), as well as occupations by profession.
- Organization of events: seminars, workshops, discussions, open classes, mentoring programs, informal courses, fairs and exhibitions.
- Involvement of social partners - employers, trade unions, as well as graduates with work success in the activities of organizing students' career counseling.
FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT ORGANIZATION OF PRACTICE
- The main requirements for the organization of practices of the main educational program of secondary professional education.
- The basic educational program of the profession includes educational (with theoretical training and/or without theoretical training), production and pre-graduation practices.
- The duration of each type of practice is defined by the curriculum of the specialty.
- Training programs of internships are drawn up and approved by the educational institution.
- Educational practices are conducted in educational workshops with sufficient furniture and technical equipment, educational test sites, other educational facilities of the educational institution, as well as in organizations and institutions.
- Production and pre-graduation internships, as a rule, are held in organizations with conditions corresponding to the content of internship curricula.
